MIKATABA YA ITOKANAYO NA MANENO ANAYOKUTAMKIA MTU

Utangulizi:

Kuanzia mwanzo wa wiki hii tumekuwa tukijifunza kuhusu mikataba inayotokana na maneno; na tuliona kuwa maneno yaweza kuleta mikataba, na hasa tulijifunza zaidi juu ya maneno anayotamka mtu binafsi; Pia tuliona maandiko kadhaa Mithali 6:2; na pia tukaona kuwa uweza wa laana au baraka upo katika maneno ambayo mtu anatamka Kumbukumbu la torati 30:15, 19; hivyo tulijikita zaidi katika mikataba ya maneno mtu anayojitamkia. Leo tutaona maneno ambayo mtu anatamkiwa na mtu mwingine.

MANENO YA KUTAMKIWA NA LAANA:

Mwanzo 9:18-29; kuna mambo ya kuangalia; Hamu baba wa Kanaani akauona uchi wa baba yake, akaenda kuwaambia nduguze ( ukiangalia hapa nani mwenye kosa waweza sema ni aliyelewa na kukaa uchi) Lakini wanawe wengine wawili walipomuona wakamfunika baba yao. Lakini katika Mstari wa 25’ Nuhu katoka kwenye ulevi, akamlaani mototo wa aliyemuona akiwa uchi.

Tunaona hapa, tatizo kubwa lilikuwa Hamu kuwaelezea wenzake kuwa baba yake yuko uchi. Lakini Nuhu alimlaani Kanaani ambaye ni mototo wa Hamu; na wana wakanaani ndio wanaotajwa katika kitabu cha  Mwanzo 10:15-20; Kutoka 3:8; Kutoka 23:23; Joshua 24:11. Hii laana ya Kanaani ndiyo iliyokuja kuwadhuru watoto wake yaani Wahivi, Wakanaani, Wayebusi na hii ndiyo laana inayowatafuna. Lakini ukiangalia mwanzo ilianzia kwenye maneno ambayo Nuhu alitamka kwa wajukuu wake.

LAANA INATENDAJE KAZI:

Waefeso 6:1 “ Enyi watoto watiini wazazi wenu katika BWANA, maana hii ndiyo haki”; kimsingi watu anawazi wa rohoni na wa mwilini; wazazi wa rohoni wanaitwa Wazazi katika BWANA.  Na katika Waefeso 6:2 “waheshimu baba na mama yako, uwe na heri…”  Neno hili uwe na heri… linatajwa kwenye biblia ya kingereza  kuwa “It may be well with you” YAANI ili mambo yakuendee vizuri; hivyo kumbe kuna uwezekano wa mtu kuwa anaenenda vibaya kwasababu ya kutokuwaheshimu wazazi. Na hapa ndipo Nuhu alitamka maneno ya Laana kwa watoto wake na yakatimia.

Sasa kitu kinachotokea ni kwamba; Yesu alisema “maneno niwaambiayo ni roho tena ni uzima” na pia biblia inasema “Kila andiko lenye pumzi ya Mungu lafaa kwa mafundisho” kumbe kuna maneno yenye pumzi au roho ya shetani. Na ndio maana waweza kumuombea mtu kwa maneno na akafufuka kwasababu maneno yale ni roho. Hivyo kama ukimkosea mzazi akatamka maneno juu yako, yale maneno kwakuwa ni mabaya, mashetani yanakuwa nyuma ya yake ili wasimamie yatimie. Hivyo nyuma ya maneno kuna roho, aidha ya roho takatifu au roho chafu.

“KAMA UNATAKA KUWA MTU WA MUNGU MZURI; TUMIA MANENO YAKO VIZURI”

ROHO ILIYO NYUMA YA MANENO:

Mpaka hapa tumeona kuna roho nyuma ya maneno; na ndio maana Hesabu 14:28-29 Mungu anasema nitawatendea yale ninayo yasikia mnasema, kumbe maneno ambayo mtu anayatamka yana nguvu nyuma yake ya kuweza kutokea.  Sasa maneno mabaya yanapotamkwa juu ya mtu; mashetani wanachofanya ni kuyachukua maneno hayo na kuyatimiza kwa mtu aliyetamkiwa.  Mfano mzazi akikutamkia maneno labda hutazaa, utakuwa kichaa, hutafilisika au tutaona utakapooa. Hayo maneno yanaweza kuwa kifungo kwenye maisha ya mtu.

Na ndio maana katika kitabu cha Mithali 26:2; Biblia inasema, “…laana isyo na sababu haimpigi mtu…” kwaiyo kumbe kama laana inasababu itatenda kazi bila shaka. Kwasabu kuna mashetani wanasimamia laana. Na ukiangalia kwa habari ya Elisha na Naamani, Baada ya Naamani kutakaswa alitaka kumpa hela Elisha,  Elisha akakataa lakini baada ya muda mtumishi wa Elisha Gehazi akaenda kwa Naamani na kutaka mali kwako, matokeo yake Elisha alipojua kwa roho wa Mungu,; akamtamkia kuwa uwe na ukoma. Na kuanzia saa ile Gehazi akawa na Ukoma. Kumbe mtu awezakuwa kwenye kifungo kwasababu ya maneno aliyowahi kutamkiwa.

Kumbe; kuna watu wapo kwenye vifungo vya magonjwa, kutokuzaa, kutokuolewa au matatizo mbalimbali kwasababu ya maneno ya kutamkiwa. Kumbukumbu 28:15-. Hapo zinatajwa laana nyingi hapo, kumbe laana hata za maneno zaweza kuja kwa namna ya matatizo, kupungukiwa, kushindwa, kukata tama n.k. Inawezekana wewe hukutamkiwa maneno, lakini baba au mama yako alitamkiwa ulipokuwa tumboni ni muhimu kuvunja maneno hayo.

MAOMBI BAADA YA SOMO:

Baba Katika Jina la Yesu Kristo; leo ninasimama kinyume na maneno yote niliyotamkiwa, katika Jina la Yesu. Maneno ya kushindwa, ya kukata tama au ya kutokufanikiwa, ninafuta maneno yote kwa Jina la Yesu. Ninafuta maneno niliyotamkiwa nikiwa mdogo ninayafuta kwa Jina la Yesu. Ninaamuru maneno hayo yote hayatatimia katika Jina la Yesu. Yeyote aliyatamka awe baba, au mama au mtu yeyote; ninayafuta maneno niliyotamkiwa kwenye ndoa, kwenye mahusiano ninayafuta Katika Jina la Yesu.

Kazi iliyopotea kwasababu ya maneno ya kutamkiwa, niaamuru uarudishwe katika Jina la Yesu. Ninakataa kupoteza katika Jina la Yesum nikipata nimepata katika Jina La Yesu.  Ninatangaza ushindi na mafanikio kwenye maisha yangu katika Jina la Yesu, natangaza Baraka Juu yangu kwa Jina la Yesu.

MAKE GOD YOUR NO 1.

While I was preaching, I identified several young ladies who did not have husbands.
I suggested to them to get married to a nice young man in church. They all refused.

“Why don’t you want to marry him, is he not a handsome man?”
“Yes he is,” they answered.
“Is he a spiritual person?”
“Yes he is. He is even a pastor.”
“Does he not have a car and a house?”
“Yes he does. Actually his car is very nice.”
“Then why don’t any of you want to marry him?”
“Because he has a wife already,” they answered.
I continued, “But you can be his second wife?”
In chorus they all cried out, “No way, no sir, we will not be second wives, we want to be number one.”

They felt insulted that I would offer them the second position. They wanted to be wives but not second wives. These young ladies wanted to be wives but only if they would be the FIRST AND ONLY wives.

THIS IS HOW GOD FEELS.

 He knows we will serve Him but He wants us to serve Him FIRST. It is actually an insult to put God after anything! Unfortunately, God is constantly relegated to the second, third and sometimes tenth place of importance. It is time for God to take His PROTON (foremost) position in your life.

DOUBT YOUR DOUBTS (T B Joshua)

The promise of God can only be appropriated by faith which comes through hearing and obeying the Word of God. In Romans 8:35-39, Paul advised Christians to keep their solid front in the face of hard times. Don’t doubt the genuineness of your spiritual experience or question your sonship in Christ because of your situation. God has promised to respond only to the faith that is produced by and rests in His Word or promise. From now on, don’t doubt your faith; doubt your doubts for they are unreliable.

UTANGULIZI:

Katika mfululizo wa masomo haya tayari tumekwisha kujifunza kuhusu kafara ya damu na tukaona pia kuhusu Kafara ya mwanakondoo ambaye ni Yesu kristo. Leo tunaangalia kuhusu mikataba inayoweza kusababishwa na damu iliyomwagika.

TABIA ZA DAMU KATIKA BIBLIA:

Mwanzo 4:10; Adamu alikuwa na watoto wawili mmoja aliitwa Kaini na mwingine Habili; Kaini alipomuua Habili; Mungu akamwambia Kaini, Damu ya ndugu yako inanililia. Kumbe damu yaweza kulia na inaweza kuongea pia.

Kumbukumbu 12:23 Mungu anasema kuwa “…damu ni uhai”. Kumbe damu ina uhai; kwa namna hiyo kuna tabia kadhaa za damu:

i)                   Damu ina sauti

ii)                 Damu yaweza kulia

iii)               Damu inaleta laana

Na ndio maana Mungu amekataza kula au kunywa damu, hii ni kwasababu hizi tatu Kumbukumbu7:27; Walawi 17:10,12

DAMU INA SAUTI (INANENA):

Damu iliyomwagika chini inaweza kunena mema au yaweza kunena mabaya,damu inenayo mema ni ya Yesu peke yake, Waebrania 12:24 inasema, “na Yesu mjumbe wa agano jipya, na damu ya kunyunyizwa, inenayo mema kuliko ile ya Habili.” Kumbe kuna damu inayonena mema (damu ya Yesu Kristo) na pia kuna damu inayonena mabaya (damu ya wanyama,ndege hata watu)

Damu yaweza kuongea mabaya juu ya mtu; damu ikimwagwa hunena na ndio maana hata nchi yaweza kuingia kwenye matatizo kwasababu ya damu inenayo iliyomwagika.

Mambo ya Walawi 19:26 “Msile kitu cho chote pamoja na damu yake; wala msifanye kuloga, wala kutumia utambuzi.” Mungu amekataza kula nyama pamoja na damu kwasababu damu ni uhai, na ina sauti. Na ukiangalia katika biblia kila mahali ambapo damu imekatazwa na uchawi pia umetajwa. Kwa maana hiyo tunajifunza kuwa uchawi upo na unaushirikiano wa karibu na matumizi ya damu.

MAFUNDO YA KICHAWI:

Ukisoma Ayubu 15:26 “Humshambulia na shingo ngumu,  Kwa mafundo makubwa ya ngao zake;” mafundo yapo na wachawi ndio wanayo yafunga. Wachawi wanaweza kuloga katika kufunga mafundo, hivi ni vifungo vya kichawi ambavyo hutumia kudumisha maisha ya watu. Kumbukumbu 18:11 “wala mtu alogaye kwa kupiga mafundo, wala mtu apandishaye pepo, wala mchawi, wala mtu awaombaye wafu.” Kuna mafundo ya aina mbalimbali mojawapo ni mafundo ya maamuzi; yaani mtu anashindwa kuwa na maamuzi, na ndio maana watu wengi wanashindwa kupiga hatua kwenye maisha kwasababu wamefungwa katika maamuzi.

Wachawi pia hutumia mafundo haya kufunga matumbo ya kina mama ili wasipate watoto; na ndio maana ya maandiko yale yanayosema “Amin, nawaambieni, yo yote mtakayoyafunga duniani yatakuwa yamefungwa mbinguni; na yo yote mtakayoyafungua duniani yatakuwa yamefunguliwa mbinguni.” Mathayo 18:18. Kwenye ulimwengu wa mwili mtu anaweza akaonekana anaumwa au ana matatizo lakini katika ulimwengu wa roho anakuwa amefungwa. Luka 13:16 huyu mwanamke alionekana amepooza kumbe shetani alikuwa amemfunga.

DAMU INAVYOTENDA KAZI:

Sasa kwa kujua kuwa kila damu iliyomwagwa inauwezo wa kusema, wachawi hutumia tabia hiyo ya damu kufunga maisha ya watu. kwahiyo wanachofanya wachawi au waganga ni kuchukua mnyama na kumchinja yule mnyama na kuinuizia inene tatizo lako. Kimsingi; hii damu iliyomwagwa ndiyo inayoitwa madhabahu ya tatizo lako. Na ndio maana waganga wa kienyeji huagiza kuku, mbuzi au ng’ombe ile ni kwa ajili ya kumwaga damu ili inene  mabaya juu ya mtu.

Damu inapomwagwa inatoa sauti; yaani katika ulimwengu wa roho ni sauti kubwa ili mtu akae katika tatizo; kinachotokea pale damu inaponena mashetani husikia rohoni na kwa njia hiyo mashetani yanapata mlango wa kuingia kwenye maisha ya mtu. Hivyo mashetani huja ili kutekeleza sauti ya ile damu inayonena. Kwa njia hiyo shetani amefunga maisha ya watu na kifungo kinakuwa kikubwa kulingana na wingi wa damu iliyomwagwa

DAMU INAYOTOKANA NA KUCHANJWA CHALE:

Biblia iko wazi sana kuhusu kuchanja chale kwenye miili ya watu. Mambo ya Walawi 19:28 “Msichanje chale yo yote katika nyama ya miili yenu kwa ajili ya wafu, wala msiandike alama miilini mwenu; mimi ndimi Bwana.” Mambo ya Walawi 21:25; Yeremia 48:37 Yaani; mtu huyu sio kwamba imemwagwa damu ya mnyama kwa ajili yake bali anakuwa amechanjwa mwenyewe kwenye mwili na ameitoa damu yake mwenyewe. Kimsingi; mganga anapokuwa anachanja chale huwa ananena maneno ambayo huwezi kuyaelewa. Yale maneno ndio sauti ya ile damu iliyo mwagwa.

Utajiuliza kwanini Mungu anakataza watu kupigwa chale; kimsingi damu inayomwagika ni uhai wako, kwa lugha rahisi ni kwamba unapochanjwa  chale unakuwa umeacha uhai wako kwa mganga wa kienyeji. Hivyo mganga anaweza kukuona na kukufuatilia kirahisi, hivyo akiamua kukufanya urudi kwake anaweza kukurudisha kirahisi kwasababu uhai wako umeuacha kwake.

DAMU YA YESU KRISTO:i                                                                                                           

Unaweza ukajifunza kwanini Yesu alipokuja duniani asingekufa kwa kuumwa au njia nyingine ambayo haimwagi damu, Siri kuu ya kuja Yesu duniani ni kwa ajili yetu sisi tufunguliwe na kutoka kwenye vifungo kwa damu ya Yesu ambayo yenyewe hunena mema daima.

Yaani Mungu alipoaamua kumkomboa mwanadamu ikamlazimu kuvaa mwili ili aje kuukomboa ulimwengu. Na ndio maana aliitwa Immanuel yaani Mungu pamoja nasi, naye alipokuja duniani akaenda msalabani ili atengeneze madhabahu yake kwa njia ya kumwaga damu. Na nguvu ya damu ya Yesu ni kuwa hakutenda dhambi hivyo damu yake ina nguvu dhidi ya madhabahu zote za giza.

Wakati wao wanaitia damu za mafahari na mbuzi sisi tunanena damu ya Yesu, inayonena mema. Kwa kutumia damu ya Yesu twaweza kunyamazisha damu nyingine za giza.

Ibada ilimalizika kwa maombi:

Baada ya kujifunza somo hapo juu omba hivi;

Kamata kuhani wa madhabahu:

Ninakamata kuhani wa madhabahu  kwa jina la Yesu. Kila wachawi na waganga wote wanaosimama kama kuhani wa madhabahu, ninawakamata kwa jina la Yesu. Ninaharibu kazi zao katika jina kuu la Yesu Kristo. Imeandikwa mtakalolifunga duniani na mbinguni litakuwa limefungwa; ninawakamata na kuwafunga wote Katika Jina La Yesu.

Bomoa Madhabahu:

Katika jina lenye Nguvu la Yesu Kristo ninaharibu kila madhabahu za kishetani kwa Jina La Yesu. Ninabomoa madhabahu zinazoleta vifungo kwenye maisha yangu katika Jina La Yesu. Madhabahu za magonjwa, mikosi na laana ninazibomoa na kuzisambaratisha katika Jina la Yesu. Ninateketeza madhabahu zote katika Jina La Yesu.

Nyamazisha damu yoyote iliyomwagwa inayonena mabaya kwa ajiliya maisha yako:

Nanyamazisha damu zote zinazonena mabaya juu yangu katika Jina la Yesu, Nanyamazisha damu ya mbuzi na damu zote za wanyama kwa Damu ya Mwanakondoo. Ninaamuru damu yoyote inayonena mabaya juu yangu inyameze Kwa Damu ya Yesu Kristo. Imeandikwa Damu ya Yesu inanena mema nami kwa Damu hiyo ninanyamazisha kila damu za mashetani na damu ya Yesu inene mema kuanzia sasa.

When you see a brother or sister in fornication or adultery, just begin to see yourself. You are seeing another version of yourself. You may ask, “Pastor, how is this possible?” The answer is in the Scripture: “buT ConsIdeResT noT the beam that is in thine own eye?” Matt7:3

Jesus warned us to consider our own faults before commenting on the faults of others. In order to help us further, He gave a blanket suggestion: “Judge not!” In other words, say nothing about anything! This is one of the commonest problems of Christians. How we love to criticize people, how we love to see the mistakes in our friends!

“To consider” means “to think deeply, analyze, to meditate, to ponder and to reflect”. When you reflect deeply on the issue you will realize that you are also guilty.

TESTIMONIES: “The Thief Threw My Handbag Back!!!”

Be encouraged and inspired in your faith as you read this testimony of an Emmanuel TV viewer who was privileged to receive an Anointing Sticker from a friend who had visited The SCOAN.
 “Emmanuel!!! My names are Lydia Cheembe from Zambia and I am writing in to testify about the goodness of God. God is so good and faithful to His children! I received Anointing Water and an Anointing Sticker from a friend of mine who had visited The SCOAN. I was so happy as I used to watch Emmanuel TV all the time and knew how God was using these simple items. I put the Anointing Sticker on my car.

“So, one day last week as I was driving into town from my building site, I left the window of my vehicle open. Why Did God Created Devil? Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Answer It:

The quick vote question of the week is: “Why did God create the devil?” Is their a personality known as the devil? If there is, was it God who created it? Why? That’s the question.

Answer: First and foremost, Jesus let us know that there is a personality known as the devil. The whole Bible teaches that there is a personality known as the devil and gives us the history of the devil. The Bible lets us know that the devil was a person that was created; he was created, but he was not always a devil; he became a devil. I want to read something to you from the Bible that will help you understand these facts. I will start with what Jesus said in St. John’s gospel chapter 8; they engaged in an argument, and He said these words “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” [John 8:44] [Pastor Chris emphasizes] “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning” From the beginning? What beginning is Jesus talking about when He says “from the beginning;” does that mean from the beginning when he was created? No, Jesus used the expression “the beginning” in two different references: the first reference we will find has to do with the creation; the second reference has to do with when He began His ministry. He had told His disciples “Ye have been with me from the beginning,” [John 15:27] the beginning of His ministry. Those are the two references that Jesus used the term ‘beginning,’ and I want to give you one or two scriptures in reference to that St Mark’s gospel chapter 10 from verse 4, “And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. [Talking about divorce with Jesus] And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.” [Mark 10:4-6] From the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female? That means the beginning of creation He’s talking about there is not the creation of everything but the creation of man. When God created man, He made them male and female; that’s what He is talking about. So you can see the same reference in Matthew 19:4,8 – same expression – and then in 1 John 3:8, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” The devil sinneth from the beginning; what beginning? John is still referring to this beginning that Jesus was talking about, not Satan’s own beginning. Remember the scriptures never contradict themselves, so Satan from his beginning was not in sin, from his beginning was not a murderer as Jesus said. Jesus said he was a murderer from the beginning; that beginning is the beginning of man’s creation.

Now, we look at Satan and how he begins and what happened to him. We go over to the book of Ezekiel chapter 28 from verse 12, “Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;…” [Ezekiel 28:12-13]. Now, that already gives us a clue that that King Tyrus that it’s talking about is not just an ordinary man; He’s dealing with a spirit personality that was present in the garden of Eden and the Bible does mention three personalities as far as the garden of Eden is concerned: one is Adam, the other Eve and the other one was the one that came in the body of a serpent, and that’s the devil. He had been in Eden, and then it says here “…Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. [that’s the latter part of verse 12, now verse 13] Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.” [Ezekiel 28:12-13]. “In the day that thou was created,” so he was created,…there was a definite time that this being was created. Verse 14 gives us another light here; it says “Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.” [Ezekiel 28:14]. That’s very significant. To be anointed means that God sets you apart for the power that goes with it; He gives you the ability to make divine decisions. That’s very significant; it means you can make divine choices. You can make choices for God, [and] you can decide you are going to do this in His name and get about doing it; that’s very powerful, [because] it’s not every angel that is anointed, but this angel was anointed.

Mark that because of where we are going after verse 15, “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.” [Ezekiel 28:15] That’s very powerful; he was perfect in his ways from the day he was created until the day that iniquity was found in him. Verse 16,“By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.” [Ezekiel 28:16-17] Do you see that verse 17, “Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness?” He was carried away because of his beauty. Carried away with his beauty, he had so esteemed himself. Yes, the Bible does tell us that he was extremely beautiful, because God had made him so, but he wasn’t supposed to become proud and have his heart lifted. Praise God! Here is where his problem began, but let’s see Isaiah chapter 14 from verse 12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” [Isaiah 14:12-15] I will be like the most High; I will ascend into heaven; this was where the iniquity was found in him.

Sin was found in him – pride – and the pride resulted in this self exaltation. He decided he would ascend to heaven and take the place of God. He chose to do this; why? Wasn’t he supposed to only do what he was supposed to do? Oh, yes, but you see, because he was anointed, he could make decisions unlike other angels. Now, you say, “How do you know that no other angel could make the same decision today?” Well, no other angel is going to do that, because we are not told about others that are anointed. He was anointed, he was God’s highest angel, and he corrupted his wisdom, corrupted it with pride, so there is where the devil came from. He was not always a devil; did you notice what his name was – Lucifer, son of the morning? A beautiful being; that’s how God made him, and he was cast down when he tried to ascend up. He was cast down when he wanted to go up and war against God and that’s the way where he became an adversary to God and all of God’s works. But, God also has determined when his punishment will be. Remember, there were others who fell with him; there were angels that he deceived that went along with him and one time Jesus was casting out devils and the devils cried out to Jesus, “Have you come to destroy us before the time? We know who you are; you are the Holy One of God.”[Matthew 8:29] They knew Jesus, and they said “Have you come to destroy us before the time?” They know that there is a set time for their destruction, and the Bible talks about it; if you study the book of Revelations, it talks about it.

Satan’s going to end up in the Lake of Fire [Revelation 20]. First, he will be imprisoned at the bottomless pit, and he will be there for 1,000 years and after the 1,000 years have ended, the bibles says an angel will go and bring him out of there and then he will be cast into the Lake of Fire; that will be his end. Praise God!

So, you said “why did God create the devil?” The devil was not created by God as a devil, but he became a devil. God created Lucifer, son of the morning, and he became a devil. Just like you, you were born as a nice innocent kid and then when you were growing up you decided to tell lies; where did that come from? You started stealing; where did that come from? You became insultive to other people; where did that come from? That little thing that everybody was happy about when you were born, looking so innocent; you hadn’t done anything wrong; where did all the wrongs that you did come from? Somehow, they came from the heart. Why? Because Satan had sown that in man and man had fallen; that’s why every man needs redemption; every man needs salvation; every man has to come out of sin. Everyone has to accept that which Christ has consummated for us – salvation. Praise God!

TRUE CHRISTIANITY LIES IN THE PURITY OF THE HEART

Christianity, although practiced by man on earth, is not a physical exercise. It is a spiritual affair in which the Christian communes in faith with the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This means that true Christianity lies in the heart, in the purity of heart. It is not a matter of prayer, fasting and waving hands in worship without a thorough reformation of heart and life. The Holy Spirit wants to take up residence within you to aid you in developing a holy character – one in whom God can dwell. Allow God, through His Word, by His Spirit, to replace all darkness within with a gentle light, to replace the night with the day, to replace all bitterness within with the sweetness of His grace. For the happiness of seeing God is promised to those and those only who are pure in heart (Psalm 24:3-5).
